Michael Giacchino，這幾年表現相當出色也讓我非常欣賞的配樂家，「天外奇蹟」只是他生涯第二次的奧斯卡提名就讓他得到大獎，真的是相當不容易的事，而且他的感言也是個人認為典禮當中最棒的一段，每次看都覺得好熱血阿，讓我都覺得NIKE應該要找他合作一下才對阿，有位PTT配樂版的網友很熱心的將這位得獎的年輕作曲家感言給紀錄下來：
When I was dinning.
有一次我在吃飯時

I asked my Dad, " Can I have your movie camera, that old, wind-up 8-mm
camera that's in your drobe?"
我問我爸爸說:"我可以拿你放在櫥櫃的那個老舊上發條式的8mm 攝影機嗎?"

And he goes, " Sure, take it!"
然後他說:"當然,拿去吧!"

And I took it, I started making movies with it, I started being
as creative as I could.
然後我拿了那個攝影機,我開始用他來拍影片, 我開始盡我所能的發揮創意"


And never once in my life did my parents say " What you doing is a
wast of time!"
而在我這輩子中, 我的父母從來沒對我說過 "不要再做沒意義的事了"

I konw there are kids out there that don't have that support system.
So if you are out there and you are listening, listen to me, if you
want to be creative, get out there and do it. It's not a wast of time!
我知道很多孩子沒有這種支持你的環境,所以如果你正在聽我講這段的話,仔細聽
如果你想要發揮你的創意,不要猶豫了,趕快去做, 那並不是沒有意義的事情!
